Buffalo Nickel and 15 Wheat's

We did not believe we would get out today with the Doom and Gloom predicted

Somehow we did get out and found some keepers

Brian found all 15 Wheat's in a fairly small area in "Our Detected Out Park"

NO SILVER FOUND IN THAT AREA......YET

I found the Old Gold Plated Locket at the same Park

The 1928 Buffalo Nickel was found at the end of the day at another location and made my day!

Sweet finds

Nice finds Eva. If Brian found 15 wheats there, then there certainly is silver to be found. How deep were the wheats? Sometimes I find that if I find several wheats and no silver, I slow down a lot and turn my sens up a bit to where my ET gets just slightly chatty. I have produced a lot of silvers with this method in areas that stopped producing. My theory is that the silvers sink a bit deeper due to their weight and end up just out of detection range around the wheats. Its just a theory but I have found silvers this way when I come across an area with numerous wheats. I hope this helps you pull a few shinies out of that area. Thanks for sharing and keep me posted on what you find in that spot. HH -Marc

Thanks Marc,

I will share the above with Brian and we both will give it a try

These wheat's were mostly in the 1940's and were way deep, as in over 8 inches!

In general there were Silver finds near this area but not specifically IN the area, you know what I mean

At another location in this Park we found loads of early Wheat's and a Indian but no Silver

I believe we are more experienced now and want to try that area again also

I am also considering going everywhere we were with TTF but when I start using TTF I end up digging alot of pull tabs
because I found my four Gold Rings in this park

Ant suggestions are always welcome

Regards, Eva

Sounds like a good day Eva, thanks for the sharing.

I don't know maybe I need a certain number of posts here before I can PM.. I was thinking about the park on the blvd in wheatfield that had the zoo when I was a kid... I don't want to name it, but I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. I was there once last year with the ace and pulled 7 silvers and a bunch of wheats. you can PM me "elsewhere"

Some very nice finds Eva, the weather here is a bit odd too, today it snowed tomorrow they say 50+ degrees! But sigh dosen't do me any good yet still have many weeks of rehab to do  But I am a couple weeks ahead of schedule, I can take a fair number of steps without the cane so I am seeing improvement. Go out and find a nice goodie so I can see it and enjoy it with you!
