Found these in about the same area the one on the right is a buckle what is the other hook thing?
Do you think they are from the same time period?

Belt buckle with the roller reminiscent of the 60’s. Suspender clip is a good guess. Can we get a better sense of the area you were detecting? Home vs business vs rural vs city?
 
Those are rivets instead of screws, so it was attached to leather or metal. Attached to saddle?
 
Rivets and yes attached to leather was still around the rivets when I found it.
