Shared this on the finds forum but wanted to post in here as well. I love this machine and I have found more silver and good finds since purchasing the equinox than I found in years with at pro, etrac, and my ctx combined!

Stopped at a small town park I have never hunted before over lunch today. First deep coin signal was hitting in the wheat penny range. I dug it out and was surprised to see a nice green indian staring back at me. I couldn't see the date so I hit it with my water spray bottle and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the date. 1877!!. This is my second 1877 indian head now. I dug one last year and unfortunately I scratched it good with my digger. Not this time! This one survived unscathed and it is in pretty good condition too. Only had about 30 minutes to hunt but I found this and a 1918 wheat penny so I am very pleased with the results.

Here is a link to my video with more finds and close up pics!

That is one nice coin.

Congrats Ben. The 77 IH is one tough coin to find. Swinging your coil over a second one makes for a recovery you will never forget. :detecting: Nicely done. HH Randy

I found one several years back but I imagine it’s a very very short list of people that have found two... congrats on that key date...

Outstanding find! On my bucket list for sure.

Nice find ! I agree the Equinox is a brilliant machine that finds things that have been passed over many times before with other detectors !

Wow, that's great. Nice find.
