..... Colonel E. Gautreaux and Sergent Major V. Cross are sending us on a secret search and recovery mission out of country.
We'll depart Sunday, 21, August, 2011 with orders to return no later than Friday, 2, September, 2011.
Armed with the latest in detection gear, rain gear, cameras, net books, laptops, credit cards, etc., we hope to report in from time to time. We'll meet up in Philadelphia, PA with the third member and leader of our "Unit" team, SFC K. (Keith) Zorger who will lead us to our AO (area of operation).
Our primary assignment is to search for and recover Celtic, Roman, Medieval, and early English coins, jewelry, relics, and artifacts while winning the heart and minds (making nice) of the local population. My personal secondary assignment and responsibility is to act as interpreter for SGT B. (as in Bubba) Miller for the local population.
Bubba's secondary assignment is to determine how many of the local food items taste like chicken. SFC K. Zorger has also insisted SGT Miller learn to speak the English language before returning the States.
SGT Zorger's secondary assignment is to establish and maintain a personal as well as cash retainer relationship with a local bail bondsman.
This assignment is a dirty job but thank God there are folks like us that are willing to sacrifice for the good of the hobby and Friends and Finds forum!
