Bryce's "Program", can we make it a sticky?

Bryce, you've helped me so much by reading your posts. The hot gain has really cranked up my finds, changed my understanding of the detector's operation and helped me smooth out my machine. Going to a 6" Excelerator has done wonders for my ability so sort through trash.

Would it be possible for you to put your program or settings in a sticky for quick reference? I would like to see an expert post how he sets up his machine from the factory default settings. Sometimes I clear mine out accidentally and I can't remember in the field how to get all my setting back to where they were.

I think this is for an Explorer SE

For An Explorer II, Iron mask is -6.


Bryce, when you say barely audible threshhold, do you mean barely perceptible in terms of volume or lowest tone one can audibly detect?
Also, on your settings above, on an Explorer II, do you use Response option of Normal, or Audio 1,2,3?

And one more question: Bryce do you use the Minelab coil with your SE, or a Sunray/Excelerator?

As for the response.....normal.

As for the coils used....SEF...pro....excelerator....Sunray....15" WOT....whatever the site calls for.

Again...thanks for the post...and it looks like you already have my settings.

WITH YOUR PROGRAM DO YOU RUN IT IN IRON MASK ON OR OFF?
I USED YOUR PROGRAM LAST WEEKEND AND DID VERY WELL I THOUGHT, 1 LARGE CENT COULDN'T READ THE DATE,
1 BARBER QUARTER 1914, 1 MERC 1942, ! ROSIE 1948,SIX WEATIE"S 1912, 1915, 1 1928, 1938, 1947, 1957 I WAS STOKED.
I RAN IT WITH IRON MASK OFF, IT SEEMED TO WORK FOR ME VERY WELL , BUT DO YOU RUN YOUR PROGRAM WITH IRON MASK ON?

I run my iron mask set at 22 on the SE as is stated in Andy's book.
