Bryce and all you guys that have used the RNB battery for a year or so...

I was wondering how the RNB battery is holding a charge after several hundred hours of use? Can you tell a difference?
I would expect it to lose some at this stage. Anyone?

Neal I can honestly say I have noticed absolutely NO change whatsoever.

I still get the same 29+ hours or so before it craps out on me.:beers:

Wow, sounds like one durable, long-lasting battery!!!

It really is awesome to be heading out in the middle of nowhere to hunt...and having the confidence that the battery WILL get you through the day.

The best part is that even if your detector has been sitting for weeks or months...when you turn it on...the battery will be at the exact same charge as it was the last time you used it!

I really feel it's the best accessory since the Sunray inline probe.

PS: I have 3 used Sunray probes...1 on the EX2...1 on the SE...and 1 on the E-trac. Oh yeah...I also bought 2 brand new ones when I heard Ralph was gonna' stop making them...and they are still wrapped in the bubble wrap! :beers: No way I'll ever hunt without one.

When I use the X-1 I have full confidence that I've got the information I need to stop digging or continue to dig. It has saved my countless hours of scrounging around on my knees trying to find out what made that noise.

Neal, no change in mine either. It still holds a full charge. I feel it was a great investment.

I just feel completely helpless without the Sunray inline probe because of the information it gives.

Some decent hand held pointers out there but none of them give me the info I need.

Dave and I both bought our batteries at the same time and Joe was great to talk to.
I have been more than happy with the performance of the RNB battery!!:beers:

Have had no issues with mine holding the "same as new" charge" either. I got lucky when I bought a second Explorer 2 as it came with the RNB battery.
Pretty darned good product as far as I'm concerned.
