Luke and I tryed our luck re-visiting some small beaches near by. Even with the 7mm wet suit, cold wind and rain made the day less than confortable. The worst is that we didn't had any gold to heat us up. We did 4 beaches, most of them already visited several times, all pretty small. On each beach, we got a little here, a littel there.
Clad count is 13.31$, 2 silver jewels (or 3, not sure) and a silver quarter. Did found a gold looking ring, but before polishing, it looked more like old brass. No markings, i'll count it as brass unless i can find back my %$*&%$% bottle of acid test.
Got a silver chain, no locklet. A "silver" pendant, no markings, but all the right colors before and after polishing and a small silver old style earring.
Well, can't all be gold day
Took me untill after super to be less cold and shivering. I only used my shorth 3mm wet plus the top of my 7mm wet suit. Nest time i'll use both 7mm pieces!
