Old California posted pics of a brown box pro and 2 other bh detectors. anyone have any inside schematics of the brown box pro? tryin to figure out why the sensitivity dial doesnt work properly and the volume has to be almost set to max. new batteries have been installed...whether it be a 9 volt or 8 AA's. any thoughts?
 
That's a PNI Bounty Hunter from the 70's. I don't think any internal docs and service info survived to the present owners. Maybe Keith Wills at www.brokendetectors.com, but he only repairs, he doesn't provide copies of any schematics or service info. So you're stuck drawing your own or just using the same troubleshooting you'd use to fix a radio.
