Well went to the lake I have been finding stuff in and didn't find a lot. Another 1907 Barber dime, a merc, and a silver ring along with some more very old intact cartridges. A junk ring, a US emblem that is VERY heavy (no idea what it was used for) a marble,, watch, ear ring, heart locket (both brass) , 3 quarters 2 dimes , 4 nickels 7 houses and 6 wheat cents were the rest of my keepers.

HOWEVER, I dragged home another boat!! 18' 1986 fiberglass Chris Craft with a 3.0 liter engine and a cobra out-drive on a shorelander trailer. It was only 250.00 and I couldn't pass it up. Went to take a picture of it and my finds and my camera battery was dead. Its charging now. Will have a picture tomorrow. Don't know if I will keep my Four Winns as a second boat yet. Have to play some more tomorrow with it and see what I want to do. I need to take the starter apart and see if it needs a solenoid or just cleaned up. Motor turns over though. The boat does need a new interior.

Water is still way to cold for more than one dive. But its so clear cause the boats are not stirring it up yet .

The US emblem is way interesting. Its brass and solid and about an 8th of an inch thick. Has a square head brass screw in the middle of the back it looks like. Haven't tried to take it out. These old cartridges I keep finding also are super interesting. I am sure the dates on them are from the 1880's and I seem to be collecting quite an assortment. Tomorrow the pictures. Maybe somebody has an idea.

Anyway. back to the old grind tomorrow. I am hoping soon the water will warm up more.
