Possibly Bronze, Larger than a silver dollar, Translation? Idea of age or where i might find more out about it?

Found approx 25 years ago in Hartford Co, Conn.

Do no know, When I scanned the medal in didn't think the that part of the image would be offensive.. Also when have limited information about an item or subject try to present all the information i have.
 
Hi John,
the linked image was found on a page originating from Germany. Since the end of the war, displaying a swastika in Germany and Austria is illegal.
 
it is illegal to sell/ have/ or deal with nazi stiff in germany / austria ---seems they don't want the younger folks using it to stir up hate groups and the older folks don't like to be reminded of their past sins and defeat in the war.
