Does anybody repair these? Mine quit on me this week.I believe it is a short between battery and box.Machine working great then abruptly shuts off,won't power up.Want to try and save this great detector,never saw a need to upgrade. (should I try to fix it myself,electronics isn't my strong suit but I can solder a wire)...any help appreciated......hh..JB
