Broken rod tightener

My rod tightener on my 1236 cracked can i replace it or should i glue it back together ?

I use one of those rod connectors that Plugger sales very impressive IMHO get rid of the knurl nut and use one of these. The knurl nut will have to be replaced anyway my suggestion the prices are so cheap pick one up you have nothing to lose.I was very unimpressed with the photos seen of this item but after using one I think in a few years this will replace the current stock setup most manufactures use.Very light and locks the rod in place better than your current system, and allows for a finer adjustment for height. Good Luck Ron
