Finally got a silver coin with the 70. 1938S Merc. in a modern park at 1". This coin shouldn't have been here but I'll take it. Work has kept me from hitting old sites so, I've been hitting the parks near my house. None of them are pre 1964 so, I can't help wonder how she got there. On the plus side, clad's up to almost $200 for the summer. I'll try to get a pic up.

You never know how stuff winds up where it does. I hunted with a friend in a farm field a few weeks back, he got 2 Barber quarters and an 1890 Morgan, the next week a Barber half. How did those wind up in the middle of a field??? God only knows. Congrats on your Merc. hope you find some more in there. Ron
