Yep ! It was a good day ! Our first hunt with 3 detectorist on a beach in a long time. I went out with Bob and Luke to a place we knew was large enauph for us all. This place had already been hunted at least 5 times so far this year but it still had plenty for us.
It was raining all day but the temperature wasn't too cold so it didn't bother us too mutch. We hunted for at least 4 to 5 hours and yet we found gold in the last minutes.
I was kind of hoping to find a gold chain today and my wish was granted in a good way ! Found a vey yellowish gold chain with two pendants. I couldn't read the markings and i still can't do because they are all arabic, but they all passed the 18K test easyly so my guess is that they are 22K witch is common in northern africa. So this would be my first 22K... a new record for me.
I also found 2 14K rings and one of them had three small diamonds that tested ok. Also got a 10K ring with 5 diamond chips also tested OK.
I was up to 8 gold and wasn't sure how mutch Bob had, but was pretty sure i was one or two ahead of him. It was late and i was hoping for an other one just to make sure I'd beated him. He always beat me, so... i wanted a little more to make sure. And as i was digging for a bottle cap, i eyeballed the nice chunky 10K men's ring lying on top of the sand ! Yeppy ! So 9 gold today ! It's a season record, but an all time record for me.
Here is a picture of the gold and silver items :

I also found a lot of junk jewelry, two watches (one was sent to garbage... not even worth taking a picture) So here goes my second record of the day... two watches. Also found a pair of cisslors... not the kind of thing you want to trip on !

Total clad of the day : 56.44$ if i remember correctly. Ive beated that total 2 times at least this season, but i'm up to 647$ this season and that is my third record for a season so far... and it's not over !
