Finally! It took 3 years and 8 detectors but today I found my 1st coin minted in the 1800's. Took the SovGT back to the old farm house at the park. I wasn't having much luck where I found the Merc and quarter last week so I went to the back of the house and got a soft smooth repeatable signal. At 5 inches I scored this beautiful 1876 Indian Head Penny. I should have picked up a Sovereign years ago.
