with the first hunt of the year for us, 1899 Barber dime and the usual stuff. Just plain nice to get out hunting again and yesterday was such a nice day to be outside..........:biggrin:
 
beautiful barber to start off the year! The object stamped "mable gilson" is this a counter stamped coin?
 
No, it's not Jim, just a copper disk with no other markings.... :shrug: Thought I had a Large Cent but I couldn't rub any details into it.......:biggrin:
 
Thats a real nice ice breaker there, Larry! If its any consolation, I chipped a few zinc pennies out of a frozen wood totlot this am..it was like picking through oriented strand board with a screwdriver!:rofl:
