So Happy, Found at 1872 quarter from Canada. Been waiting for spring to thaw and went out to this park built in 1800. Since this was only my second outing with the Etrac been digging and learning. Thought was another Penny only 2 inches deep. It was near an area that I found an Indian Head penny same depth. This is near a tennis court that may have been the reason for it being so Shallow. This was the last find of the day and made it well worth it. How do you get coins certified? This one is in great shape.
Great find. I would look up the approximate value on-line first before I got it graded. Getting a coin graded is not cheap and normally costs around $30.00 - $50.00 depending on how many coins you get graded and the turnaround time you request. There are several on-line grading services available, just do a find with "coin grading services".
Way to go, she looks very crisp. not bad for second outing with the E. As you may all ready know, you will dig alot of stuff getting familiar with your E.
