British Coin

Headed out for a bit yesterday afternoon into the evening to the same park that I found those last 2 silver rings. I have yet to find any silver coins or gold rings, but I'm hopeful. Anyhow, had a nice quarter signal on my F5, but the VDI was consistently reading 80. Quarters on my F5 always hit between 82-83, so this made me curious as to what is was. So, as the sun was going down I had to use my light and dug 3" and out popped what I thought was a half dollar. I was excited but I knew it couldn't be b/c the reading would've been higher. By the way, I have yet to find me a half dollar. So as I pick up this coin I realize it is a British coin. Turned out to be a 1967 One Penny British coin. I was excited, what a neat find.
On the way to the car I got a funny penny/dime signal and found two round pieces with what looks like Asian letters or symbols. Looks like it belongs to a bracelet, not too sure. They cleaned up pretty well, but there are no markings.

Hope everyone has a wonderful New Year and may we all find Plenty!!

Cool find gygull, i love it when i find coins from another country....hh rick in mi.

That is a great find. I have been fortunate to find 3 half dollars at my local high school. Two of them along the football field sidelines and one by the football concession stand. All were approx 3" down. I have yet to find a ring though. So congrats on your abilities.
