Whose brilliant idea was it at White's to put a reflective gold sticker on the Quantum coils...In the bright sun, the dang things blind ya and make ya want to take a Quantum Leap off a tall cliff...lol...I do not want to take them off, and do not want to use tape to cover them...any ideas???
I just know one of the engineers are reading this and laughing their butt off...
All 3 of my coils have these stickers...

HH,

It's for the "ding" effect like in the XLT commercial........... ;)

I think its for the old coggers that they have trouble seeing

what a coincedence, I had the exact same problem today with the 5.3 Bullseye coil on my XLT.

Use a erasable magic marker. You can always wipe it off if you don't like it no harm done to your sticker.

Quick cheap fix, polarized sunglasses. We need to protect our eyes when outside for long periods of time anyway.

Masking tape it won't harm coil decal or leave a sticky residue

Hmmm...The sunglasses and the masking tape both sound good...think I will pick up a pair of glasses first...
