He is still in some pain but doesn't require as much pain meds. We are stretching the time between doses to wean him off the hard stuff. He still wants to make the trip to the beach but won't be able to swim or go on the beach, so we'll have to find other thingd to do with him.

The first pic is for you guys, Brians wanted to thank you for your prayers.
The second pic is from tonight. The last two nights have been cool so we built a fire in the fire pit and wheeled him out to make smores. I've about had my fill of video games, :b, but I'm sure there will be more to come.

Thanks for all your prayers,

Doug

That's a good idea, Jeff. It's funny you suggested that, because Friday afternoon I took Sarah and Brian to Chattanooga to see their aquarium and the kids had a great time. I'll put that on the list, great suggestion!

You are truly amazing. Most people I know get in a hospital bed and you have to force them to smile. Am glad you are feeling less pain and getting stronger. Never had a smores myself but by the looks of the pic around the campfire I'd have to say they must be good (much better than hospital food too I imagine).
Take things easy - will pray God strengthens you in all ways Brian. God bless you and your whole family - they are amazing too!

Yes, he is feeling much better! Funny you should ask about the job, I just applied on-line for a sales position. I couldn't ask for a better place to work, great company and great people, but sales are down and I'm not making enough money.
