First, I would like to thank Mike from Mi. for submitting Brian's story in a contest for a new metal detector offered by Bonnie Blue Detectors and (See picture #4). Mike called me to tell me that Brian had won and...well...Christmas day couldn't get here soon enough for me. Mike, if you would, please elaborate more about the contest. The package was scheduled to arrive while Brian was in the hospital and our neighbor, who I'll call Alan, since that is his name, was kind enough to keep an eye out for the UPS man and held the box for us until we got home. Thank you Alan!! By the way, Alan somehow has been introduced to MD'ing, I have no idea how, but it appears I have a new MD'ing buddy!!

When Brian opened the box, I was amazed at the number of wrapped gifts it contained.

Of course, I had him open the largest box first!! "No, it can't be...my very own metal detector!!" From the look on his face, no explanation is really neccessary.

Wow, this kid is set. A new Garrett Ace 250, Lesche digging tool, Killer B's headphones, sand scoop, carry bag and apron to hold all of his finds!! He was thrilled!! We were all amazed at the gifts.

Once again thank you Mike for submitting Brian in the contest...and a big thank you to:

Bonnie Blue Detectors: Keith, Bonnie, Phillip and Aaron!!

And to...

Brian could barely smile but you could see the excitement and joy in his eyes and explanations as he opened each gift.

You made this young man very happy.

Thank you and God bless all of you!!
