Breezy afternoon hunt

I went out for about 2 hours, first thing I sees is a doe...A deer, a female deer running across my field in the broad daylight...She was tall, but thin looking...Never seen one on the field during the day...They usually do not start roaming until 2am or so...Something musta scared her...Well, we have had more than our share of rain lately and I think it is affecting the ground...My detector was extremely hard to Ground Balance, and a lot of falsing and $1 overload signals...I did manage to find $0.78 cents in a part of the field where I am trying to find a reported lost gold ring...Have not found the ring, but still plenty of clad to be had...I missed silver by one year yet again...the oldest coin is the 1965 quarter...:ranting:
