Lake went down a foot. Meant everything. Sixth hunt at this site. Well got to hunt out where 12 - 75 boats tie up side to side and anchor. On weekends. Well first dig was a spark plug. Than a little clad, tabs , bottle caps. Than Ole Yellow coughed up a nice ring. Looked like silver with a stone. Well look e here. 10K White gold. Couldn't believe it. Another hour of tabs, boat equipment, ect. About ready to quit. Up from the deep, nasty looking silver ring. First water double.
I was wading, noticed Big Blue Gills following my scoop. Just hanging out on the sand bar. Heading out tonight, see if their hungry.
Ps Gold ring on right with stone. Hunting with a Garrett Infinium, 8" coil

Nice rings.

You know that blue gills are always hungry! Lightly breaded and sauteed in butter ... delicious!
Cheers,
tvr

Silver and gold are a good hunt...congrats. There are a couple of those sandbar/boating spots here that I've tried to hunt, but the bottle caps, twist offs and pull tabs are overwhelming!!

Reminds me that I need to hit up the local lake that has surely gone down in this drought. Good score!

Nice work there man! :clapping: 'Gills are about the best fish there is...I lightly bread them with Zatarains fish powder, fry them up in Crisco, and mix up some tartar sauce with a spoon of blue cheese salad dressing..
Mud.
