We had over 10" of rain in a few days and our basement had 22" of water. Needless to say our "finished" basement IS finished! 
Larry has been working so hard on getting EVERYTHING out of there and trying to clean up what can be. With my asthma, I've not even been down there. Just seen pictures and made me sick. So, tomorrow I am off work and we plan on getting out of here for a while. Larry needs a break and with the beautiful sunshine, low humidity and temps, we'll both be happy to be out of the house. We're going to see what else we can find at the old rental property. I want to start where I left off Saturday. After that, I'm going to put my little 5.3" coil on and start all over again. I hope others have survived Ike and the aftermath. I know we had it easy compaired to the ones down south. God Bless. HH to all, Nancy
