Brass Michigan Seal help/Can you ID?

Can anyone help me with this Two inches in diameter Michigan Seal item. It is solid, and I was thinking some sort of rosette but can find nothing.

Thanks for your input

What I can see is that there is some writting at the very top. It appears to be a button.
However, it must be a valuable one as what I see on it is a buck deer on the left in a
fighting position with a family seal in the center that looks like the name - - - son and
above that there is an eagle; to the right side is a moose also in a fighting reared up
position. It could be a brand button from a long long time ago but I doubt any of them
would have gone to that extent on a button as a logo. My "Guess" is:

Military company from Revolutionary War/Civil War identifying that company.

Wealthy family dress clothing

Just a guess.

Thank you for your response. I know it is a Michigan State seal, I just cannot imagine what it was for. It is ywo inches in Diameter, well larger than a silcer dollar, so it is not a button. I thoought rosette or maybe a breast plate, but I cannot find any examples online after extensive research.

OK I am seeing now what you are seeing. I really didn't look at the bottom side that
much. As for it's use, probably used with wax to seal up important documents that were
transported by courier from state official to another state official. That should be worth
a lot of money.
