Brass & Copper hunt

Henrik Pedersen

New member
My last hunt at the same cornfield, in the same track.
This time i had the RC40 DD Coil attached. Disc. 20, 2 tone, gain 55, iron audio 2.
I was sweping the area very fast in about 2 hours. All my finds was in a depth of 1-3 inch down. All copper and brass.

Last time i was at the cornfield, same amount of time, i had a bit different settings with the RC29V DD coil. Disc. 20, 3 tone, gain 85. iron audio 2. My finds all trash, was in a depth of 7-12 inch.

I believe this machine is very good at distinguish between layers.

Just a thought .

I would say wow you are doing very well with those coils and unit Henrik Pedersen but could you summerise on how that RC40 coil is working for you and on what Racer? Every time i go out with my red Racer with the 11x7 coil I'm not skunked and theses sites have been so call picked clean lol i laugh every time !! Who needs a unit that costs several thousand Dollors lol when you have a Makro Racer!!

I'm using the Makro R2. I have been using it for 14 days now.
When using the R2 in stock setup with the 11x7 coil, its a silver killer!.
when i'm using the large coil it, seems that i'm better at collecting cobber and brass.

Only downside is that, i have only digged two coins up! both coins were old but not that old!. But my finding curve suggest that the Next time i go out on a hunt. I'll find at least 3 coin older than 1950 )

The detector keep finding stuff in the same spot over and over again! It's amazing.
I really like this sport! And i really like my Makro R2!

Sorry for my English. It sucks when i'm exited!

Ya Racer are wonderfully versital machines, they have most bases covered
