I found this old spoon in my yard today, stamped "sterling" it was about 6" deep under some roots. My question is, doesn't the S engraved on this spoon handle look like it was hand-engraved? The lines are not perfect, and the spacing between the lines are not perfect. Any ideas appreciated.
