Brand New Treasure Hunter - Pulse 8x Any Good???

USATC

New member
Hello! I am a 100% novice in treasure hunting, and am looking to get a good metal detector. I live in Florida and would like to take one out in the water, but also be good on land (maybe even find nuggets if I ever get to Alaska). Is the Pulse 8x a good detector to drop $1,300 on? Will it find rings or coins on land as well as the proverbial chest of treasure in the ocean? Any help would be much appreciate because I can't seem to find any info online except from retailers.

Thanks,

USATC

It's made by a different company, J.W. Fishers of Berkley, MA.

It is a detector designed for diving, and it is not a unit that would be recommended for searching in the beach for jewelry. It's just not sensitive enough.
