Bracelet and High School Ring

Treasure Mike

New member
Found the 14K Kid's bracelet in the wood chips at a park play area. It registered 14 to 18 and then 2 to 4 on the VDI meter on my MXT and Bigfoot coil. The numbers bounced around a lot probably because it was reading the link chains on one pass and then the ID plate on the next. It weighs 7.5 grams.I usually check all targets in the wood chips which register above iron. I probably would not have checked this target if I had located it in the turf. Makes me wonder how much good stuff I have passed up. Found the girls high school ring last night at a sports field near the sidelines. It weighs 3 grams and was down about 2 inches and registered 22 on the VDI meter. Although it has no karat stamp it did test at 10K with my Mizar Electronic gold tester. Thanks for looking! Mike

Great finds! The pictures are nice too!!:clapping: Right now my dfx sits waiting...we are not going to clear 30 in Illinois for quite a while getting 2 inches of snow as we speak! High of 12 one day this week! Oh well..., I was able to get out 12 times in January, which for here is great! The class ring is really nice. I think you know your pictures serve as a motivator...but its just to damn cold here with the frozen ground!! DFX Gregg:whites:

This is the fourth class ring that I have found. I have returned two so far to the owners. With any luck I will find the owner of this ring also.
