We belong to a MD Club and one of the best things about being in a MD Club is they arrange for Hunt Locations
where you may not get permission as a Individual.

The Weather was IFSY but worth a try at a Boy Scout Camp about a Hour Drive away.

I found 6 Indians; 1895,1898,1905,1905,1907 and 1907 and a 1907 V Nickel and a few Wheat's.
There was also some stuff including a Ring that had a makers mark and 1/30 I4K GOLD inside it and lots of Clad.

BRIAN HAD HIS BEST DAY EVER, 3 Washington;1946,1951D,1963D, 4 Mercs; 1942,1943,1944,1944 and 1946 Rosey...8 SILVERSSS
He also found 2 Buffalo Nickels (ND) and his First V Nickel(ND), 1907 Indian and 12 Wheat's!

Nice finds, guys. I'm surprised you did not find one or two of the hanker chief slides.

Most of the Slides we found have been in Public Parks

Brian did find a BSA Pin but accidentally left it back on a wooden picnic table
I will try to go back and retrieve it when it stops raining

As for Boy Scout's having alot of Silver, Remember the Dimes and Quarters and Halfs were Silver ONLY before and up to 1964

I was alive but was not detecting..DARN

Way cool. Did you find much trash digging all those goodies? Looks like you guys had a fun
time.

At the BSA Camps there is the usual type of trash as in tent stuff and Food stuff/cans and pull tabs

But either we have gotten better at it or the stuff has been dug up over the years or the Scouts are doing better with Clean Up:)
