Boy Scout Camp Hunt #2

New member
Well the weather is holding here in Virginia...in fact it was a very warm 55F on Monday. Had about three hrs and headed to the Boy Scout Camp.

Recovered 21 quarters,11nickles, 17 dimes, forty pennies, 1 1950 D Wheat Pennie and 1 Indian Head nickel..cant read date.
Also found two early Boy Scout Sailors Knot neckerchief slides.
Recovered a 2 1/2" brass piece that I have no idea what it is.
Also recovered a 2 1/2" diameter disk with a Buffalo and the work LUCK on the front and a pic of Niagara Falls on the back. Appears to be brass coated. Any ideas what it might be?

I spoke with the camp Superintendent and he states that he has been there 20 yrs and to his knowledge no one has ever hunted the camp. TomB

Should have noted that all items have been cleaned pryor to photos.

Very nice hunt! I like the brass disk! I have no idea as to what it is but I like it. Nice work, Beale.

Looks like you had a good hunt. The 2nd picture looks like a home made pipe bomb. Made from a copper tube with a fuse hole on top? May still have gun powder inside.
