She should now be able to walk 'normally'. They corrected the inward angle [George... you know what sickled hocked is] of her knee, so she should be straight and have legs of the same length... they corrected the differing lengths too. Going to pick her up Oh... Monday or Tuesday. This is in Vancouver, a pretty fair distance from me..... maybe 300-350 miles.

So, for the last week and a bit, I have been trying to get things done... horses, gardens, firewood, etc.

But Wayne, great news on the surgery... Orlando... Willy is on a sail in the Caribbean.. Royal... will call you when Alice gets home.. , George, David, Fred, Cupa, Ron,Arkie, and everyone else Hope that all is well.

I will be back I hope, next week on a more or less regular basis.

If your weather is as good as ours, be thankful.

Fair winds, Sunny skies, calm seas

a banquet and it slipped my mind.

Good to hear you guys are all getting rebuilt and well. What a trip you guys have been on

That correction will sure make life a lot easier for her and comfortable. Sickle hocked and or cow hocked are well worth correcting. Still amazes me with whats available today in the medical centers. Thats a long drive round trip for sure. Sure glad to hear it went well.

I know the drill well with the horses, firewood, driveways repairs and everything with and engine needs service, by yours trully. This jack of all trades has its drawbacks at times. Mostly in the free time department. Best to you and Alice and a speedy recovery. I can see you guys down in the cabin kicking back soon tossing few fresh fish on the grill.

Wish I lived close by where I could be of help to you and Wayne.

Decent weather here now, milder anyhow. Had a little hot spell but its back in the 60's here now in daylight. Thats fine with me. I would be happy with that year round.

Looking foward to hearing all good progress reports for you and Alice.
