can any one help i have the bounty hunter pioneer 505 i used it on the beach but kept getting signals all 0over the place i am retired and new to this any help would be welcome many thanks george
 
If they were false signal turn your sensetivity down some and see what that does.Especially if the sand is wet , i was in sandiego pacific beach and had to adjust my settings and when i did i made a killing. goo luck to you let me know howthings turn out.
 
:cool: I had the same problem with the 505 that I owned. I sent it to BH for repairs, but they said that nothing was wrong with it. I finally had to turn the sensitivity knob way down to get it stable. I didn't like that so I sold it. It was a great detector when it was stable.
