my friend has gotten his BH time ranger and compared it to mine. he saw that his was too hard for him to use, so he returned it and said mine was better. now, he thinks his time ranger is better than my ace because he wasn't able to figure it out well enough. i want you opinion on it!

bounty hunter time ranger or ace 250?

My opinion ... well please remember ... it is just my opinion.
I would take the ACE 250 over the Time Ranger with no hesitation.
Reasons ?
For one there are accessory coils that can be used with the ACE 250.
Another is that it is American made and backed by Garrett.
Plus ... consider that it has been used and tested by hundreds of your fellow hobbyists and found to be of good quality.
And lastly is resale value ... A used ACE 250 will sale faster and for more money than a Time Ranger.
But ... I bet you already knew all that.
