I just wanted everyone to know about the smoking deal that AMAZON has on the discontinued Bounty Hunter Time Ranger. It comes with a 8inch and 4inch coils & are you ready for this deal??? How about 165 bucks shipped to you, yes you read it right- $165 shipped to you!!! I already ordered one and by applying for the amazon card, I got mine for exactly $149.39!!!! Please hurry, because I'm sure that this deal is not gonna last long!!! I would think detector dealers will step in to buy them all and mark them up a 100 to 150 bucks-just my opinion.. Robert

Wow, paid way more than that for mine five years ago and I got a good buy on EBay. It is a powerful deep seeking detector. I would have to agree with Pulltab, if you've been on the edge and would like to go to high end at a low end price now would be the time to pull the trigger. It has four preset discrimination modes but I really like the fact that you can also create your personal discrimination mode and set it exactly the way you want. Even though it is a close out it still comes with a five year First Texas warranty. If I didn't already have one I'd do it now. Good call Pulltab letting the forum know.

That is where I bought mine last year, and at the same price. I am pretty sure it will stay at that price. Very good deal and well worth the money.

Does the Time Ranger have Modulated audio? This is where deeper targets sound softer and is it adjustable? Thanks.

Yes, when in All Metal and Preset 4 deeper targets are softer. Volume level is not adjustable. Headphones are a must have, if headphones have volume adjustment all the better.
