I have a Pioneer 505 that has a defective battery charge level indicator.

Do I need to contact BH prior to sending in the unit to get an authorization number?

Should I send in the shaft along with the electronics?

Thanks,

Mark

I would call them 1st and find out every thing you need to do. I also own a BH 505 pioneer too. But dont know how to use it yet

I would check with them, but I am sure you will need an RMA number before sending it. Usually, all you have to send is the upper assembly to have the box fixed.

Hey Mark, I sent my Sharp Shooter II in last year and I did need a Return Authorization number. I believe I sent the whole detector in, but I'm not positive. They took good care of me. No complaints. HH. Matt
