Saw this machine online for $299. Looks like a good deal, I have heard that it is basically the same as the Teknetics Gamma. Does anyone have this? Is it worth considering?
 
It has a lot less features than the Gamma. The all metal mode is a static mode with no numeric ID. It has fast grab ground balance, but no manual. It will not balance to salt. The stock coil doesn't go that deep, but with the 11" DD coil for the F5, with the push in style connector, it does pretty good down to 9 inches. It's super light weight and feels good to swing. Check out the reviews and stuff on youtube. It's pretty good for 299.00. I'm not sure what else has a ground balance at that price point. I had one and found some very good stuff with it, but in retrospect it's probably best to save a bit and get an Omega.If you love detecting, you'll want to get a better machine eventually anyway.
