Bounty Hunter Jr. and Harbor Freight PP

I am thinking of modifying my Jr. so that I can plug in headphones and control the volume. Have any of you mad a similar mod to a Jr.?
Also, my Harbor Freight pinpointer needs an on-off switch so that it doesn't accidentally start beeping. Have any of you made that mod?

I would imagine that both of these mods would not be too difficult as long as you have minimal Electronic knowledge...I have seen a post of someone adding a switch to the harbor Freight Pinpointer, but I do not remember on what forum...

All one has to do is put it in line with the battery lead...
