Bounty hunter Discovery 3300 vs. Radio Shack

I am looking at the BH Disc. 3300, but on the Radio Shack site I see a machine that looks just like the 3300, but is called the Professional Style Metal detector with 9 -Segment Display. Is this the same machine, only the Radio Shack store brand. It is considerably less expensive.

I work in the Manufacturing industry, and I know we make the same product for many different customers. I was curious as if this could be the case.

The "Professional-Style Metal Detector with 9-Segment Display" on the Radio Shack website is the 2200. The 2200 has preset ground balance, doesn't have a pinpoint mode and the meter gives less info. The 3300 has better performance, the choice of either preset ground balance or manual ground balance that affects both all metal and disc modes, a true non motion all metal pinpoint mode and the numerical meter is accurate down to 6 inches or so. Having used three 3300's, one 2200 and a Pioneer 202 which is basically the same as the 2200 but sold by Walmart, I would pay the extra $100 for the 3300.
