I just bought my 1st metal detector, It's a Bounty Hunter CamoDx and I'm hoping to us it this spring when all the WHITE STUFF is gone. Is this a good starter detector? I hope to go to old home site in a flood control area. Used to homes and farms until 1938 storm flooded the area and the Gov. moved everybody and made flood control area. I have a map of the area that my wife's father had when he was a Supervisor for the CCC Camps back in the 1930's and early 1940's.
