In case some of you have not heard yet. Bounty Hunter has bought Fisher Labs, hobby/metal detector division. Should be interesting.

Jeff,

Are you sure this is a true statement? I contacted Fisher Labs after reading your statement and this is their reply:

Mr Dunn,

Thank you for contacting Fisher. Bounty Hunter has not acquired Fisher. Your warranty is still valid.

Thank You,

I just heard that Bounty Hunter has acquired Fisher Labs metal detecting division. If this is correct how does it affect my lifetime warranty on my CZ-20? Don

Well I hate to sound like a dumb a$$ but I can't say. I heard it first from someone who sells Fisher Industrial equipment, then had it confirmed by someone else. All reliable persons. The other thing Bounty Hunter is actually owned by First Texas. So I guess his answer about Bounty Hunter, would be correct. I think due to shareholders, WARRANTIES, patents etc, they are going to lay low. I mean who wouldn't?
I would just hold on and wait for the offical announcement, If one comes. I know I read somewehere on the web that someone heard it from a dealer. So someones talking.
