Got me a Cibola from (Edit). Cheaper price than anyone online. Been hunting with MXT for the past 5 years an decided to get something a little lighter that my 8 yr old daughter can use. Took her out once and she's been begging me for one small enough that she can use.

Congrats and I can think of no better reason to get a new machine.
Yall have a blast.

nice machine . let us know what you find

The Cibola is going to make for perfect detector for your daughter. It's one of my favorites. Light, fast and deep.

How wonderful hunting with you daughter. That is outstanding . She should have not problem using the little Tesoro but might just out hunt Dad.

From what I've read about the Cibola on the forums your precious daughter will probably become addicted to metal detecting like the rest of us:detecting: Ha! Best of luck to you and future hunting buddy!

If the detector needs to be even smaller, you can do away with the middle rod and just tighten the lower black rod right into the s rod. Might have to do a little filing on the black lower rod to get it to fit far enough in so that the metal spring loaded clip locks in, but it works pretty good.
Heard a lot of good things about the cibola.
