Bought my first detector:chase:

Detector newbie

New member
Hey guys. I'm new here. I bought my first detector, it's a fisher cz3d. Gonna hopefully take it out tomorrow, for the first time and start my learning curve. Guess I will be doin a lot of digging. Hope this detector works out good for me. I've seen a lot of good things said about it.

Hi, Detector newbie, welcome and this is the best Forum on the internet for CZ owners!

What country do you live in?, just out of interest!.

Funny your post title, it is almost identical to the what I wrote on another forum when I bought my first detector a few weeks ago, I wrote "I bought my first detector!", hehehehe, its a great feeling when you get your first machine, and you are correct the CZ3D is a cracking machine, I would love to own one myself, I just bought an older model - the CZ7a.

Good luck, you got a great metal detector there.

Welcome to the forum!
May I ask that (if you haven't yet) read up on good detecting practices like,
Filling in your holes!
Good target retrieval!
Get permission to hunt any private property!
Don't use any LARGE digging tools like shovels in public places (parks and ball fields, ect..)

Happy Hunting! (HH)

Welcome, take the time to learn that 3D it will get the goods and goes deep. Don't in a hurry when sweeping the coil. There is a lot of info online, Mike's CZ page is one. .
