I know you've been a vaquero user etc.
Are u using the deleon for parks? What made you miss it?

well i guess you could say that the info that it gives for the numbers is pretty deadly acurate espeacialy the last one i had i could pick nickels easy and gold rings from the pull tabs fairly easy, last weekend went out with my father inlaws compadre and forgot how much fun that darn little thing was even landed gold studded ring hunting a beach that i hav'nt hunted in about a year and of course you got the ten year old fan club chasing you around like a pack hounds in heat, should of seen there face light up when i found that ring they thought i was mr cool from there!

I'm guessing you ID a couple pulltabs and then just ignore the pulltab numbers?

well i do alot of air testing before i go out in the field to see how it reads and distances as well or targets away from the coil to see what they will read on the TID something possibly deep, i keep a log with me when i hunt to so on those deep signals if its reapeatable but deep i'll look to see the refrence to see what target was doing what on far away coil tests, i know one thing there was no mistaking big iron when you come across for sure just by the tone alone and sizing to some day would like to try a cortes because i watched the sum mode in action and looked pretty neat how it worked but another reason i like the deleon 10 khz is a super all round freq
