Bought an Explorer XS

I bought a well taken care of xs on ebay and was playing with it in my yard using the stock coil. I have a Safari, but I can tell that I am going to like this machine just as well. Using ferrous sounds I found three wheaties in less than 30 minutes. I was operating with no discrimination to hear all the sounds. She played a lovely tune. LOL! My only problem so far is pinpointing. I've got it down with the Safari and I am sure I will get it with the XS with a bit of practice.

try the "Minelab wiggle" for pinpointing........nge

Put the pro coil on from your safari it works great.
Mark I also own a safari and explorer xs.

XS is a great machine , better than the Safari . I hope to find a XS on e.bay one day. Far cheaper than spending loads on a new ET or CTX.
