need some settings to hunt with ace 250 ,do not have a manual yet.any feed back please.is there a better coil than the stock coil for deeper finds?thanks.

Learn the detector and the stock coil first before you get carrried away. The stock coil will find all you want to dig. You have to learn how to find the goodies firsr before you worry about depth. That's the last thing to dwell on when buying and using a new detector. Most items out there are buried well within the reach of the stock coit.

I agree with the Unc...The stock coil is all you will need for awhile.
I up-sized to the big excellerator coil on my Ace and while it does get waaayyy down there, the real benefit is the increased amount of coverage I am getting width wise. Really makes it a quicker job to hunt a big grassy park.

The stock coil is responsible for all of my good finds thus far. Switching between coils this early in the game will only slow you down. Good luck !!

Call garrett and talk to one of the girls. She will probably send you the DVD no charge...maybe. Just ask
because it never hurts.
