HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have read Manuel many times which is better all metal , disc? I was using with out head phones didn't find that loud as my Vasquez. I'm better with visual than reading a Manuel. I also just had hand surgery so its difficult to turn knobs with the hand and arm I'm holding machine, , I had my right hand stuck up straight in air while trying to set machine with my left while holding it. I did use in a field only found iron that's all I ever find any ways, So I need to find some one who has the patience to lead me by the hand at least one. Thanks.I just don't want iron any more, Two years has been to long. I also purchased a small 5.75 search coil in March .Would I be tter to use that when you don't go into fields ? I m sorry I have so many questions. I really want to learn this machine without getting discouraged/ Thank you

Put the 5.75 on it until you get the hang of it..
I hate to say this, but if you have a hard time using your hands to adjusts the nobs on the Tejon then it may not be your best bet.
It just takes practice.
I take it you are not a English speaker for your first language, so if you need any help just drop me a pm and i will give you my # and will help if i can..

For gosh sakes use headphones for a start..if I left mine at home would not hunt....always carry a spare if needed.

My idea is to go in backyard and experiment with the dual disc. system depending on what you are looking for ..a variety of coins and jewelry should give you an idea
what settings work best for you...Don't play with indoors as enviroment is not condusive.

Next its either VCO or a tone that fits your hearing...matter of choice as many favor either..VCO far left and as you move right the pitch gets higher.

Practice your ground balancing with manual close by until you become proficient.

The idea is to operate with one hand and once you get all of the above straightened out the trigger is all you should need.

Visiting a local Tesoro dealer or competent club member would be the ideal situation as he can show you eyeball to eyeball with a handson situation..
