Bought a 6x10 dd

After consideration between the 950 and 4x10 dd I have decided to give the 6x10 a try this weekend. Going back to the last place where I found the case fob and 1927 britt coin and see what happens. Hope I have better luck than the 10 dd. I am going to use stereo mixed this time with my custom Hi pro program.

If there is trash the stereo mixed mode will drive you nuts.

I have all the vdi tones I do not want set to 0 so all I hear is a sligt null sound tn my left ear.when an unwanted vdi is found.

I pull the ferrous side off my ear just enough to let me hear it barely. It also allows me to hear what is going on around me. When I first started using it I could not last more than 10 minutes.

It makes me realize how much trash is in the ground for every good target that is unmasked and recovered. The odds are truly not in a detectorists favor.

I set the all metal to my weak ear. You can also put a piece of foam in the all metal side.

It does not matter where you set the zero tones, the all metal side of stereo mixed mode hears and sounds on all the targets.

I took robs itdea to set tones to 0. SO the lerft ear thrershold hum bairly makes a drop in the tone when ir passes over junk. You should try it . Before it drove me crazy with all the junk. I discovered it by accident.
