bought a 1270 and 10.5" coil

well bought a 1270 from richard at backwoods came with hard case to boot and i got a 10.5" coil to this ought to go together good with my 1236x2 when i get them both i will make some vids of them out in the field!

Jav, Great to hear you got back to the 1270 you won't dissapointed goes deep, Finished the hip mount for my 1270 last night its like swinging a feather, have to post some pics.Also just sent mine back to fisher today started to run eratic an unstable. Happened before a couple of times but thought it might have been from the rain but it wasn't raining today, and I know it wasn't the heavy mineralized groung, I was at the old farm and she runs real smooth there, tried every mode but just kept squealing false signal pop and cracks did the battery swap but know help.Talked to Fisher they said send it in, but being intermittent problem they don't know if they can fix it. and its only 5 1/2 months old.

1852 Large Cent 12" deepest good stuff,Spring wet ground, Horseshoes alot deeper but you'll be amased at how deep you find very small items, 22 bullets every bit of 9".Jav Looking for the cover for my 1265X know anyone who sells parts?

mr bill thats host s the teknetics forum is the only one that i know thats got just about any accesorie for a 1200 series detector! i wish i knew of others good guy but hard to deal with at times, last knew he had a brand new in the inline probe too!

Post a pic Shooter. I was bored one night and had that wire...so I just started bending it with a couple pairs of pliers and that's what turned out. The handle on the shaft needs a hook or loop that...if you let go it will take the load off your fingers.

hey shooter where do you run disc levels at?

On the farm ( and the woods) my primary is IRON 6.5 - 7 my secondary trigger forward Disc. 4.5 - 5 Sen. about 8. Park, Schools ETC just rev. the settings. Works for me and goes deep. All Metals ( Ground Comp) Prim. and Sec DISC works real good if not a lot of Junk but bring a backhoe.I'm totally happy with the 1270 it finds them deep. 10.5 coil will get a llitle Chattery in junky areas but you can cut the SEN way down with not much depth lose.

Keith, You had a great Idea I already added the Velcro through the handle hole, and I'm adding 2 wire loops under the connetor bottom to protect the cable and connector from breaking. I'll post the pic's after I weld the loops on and I don't have my 1270 here, sent to Fisher it started running super eratic and unstable 3rd time it happened, its only 5 months old. "Does the handle on the 1270 split in 2 halves cause it has 2 screws in the handle, I made a hip mount for it and its kind of in the way. I know the whole thing comes off if you open the box and un bolt it but Fisher says that will void the warranty and I don
