I found what people call a beanpot, its clay with chinese markings on the bottom, we found several at a dig in Oakland...But one of them looks to have a glaze with some blue flower on it...is it common? I will post a pic when i get home tonight...
Thanks
Jason

I'd love to see a photo of it when you get to post one. The Chinese often used blue flowers or patterns on their crockery, or glazed the pottery in a pale blue haze. I've found lots of bits of glazed blue pieces on the goldfields where the chinese used to work and live. Try the internet or the library to determine what your finds are, and to value them.
